Chicago Is A Polka Town


Chicago is a polka town; 
You see them twirling all around. 
Wherever you will go, that's one thing you will know.
Everyone loves that polka sound.

The polka is the dance for me:
My feet move automatically;
My head swings side to side; my feet go left to right. 
Oh gee, I'm happy as can be.

Chicago is a polka town,
With lots of girls and boys around.
It's very plain to see they're singing merrily, 
Dancing and hopping up and down.
