sale approximately 50 concertinas, all from the nationally
famous Concertina Bar in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The collection
includes various makes, models and keys of play.
All of these concertinas had been on display at Art's
Concertina Bar. The Concertina Bar was the closest thing
to a chemnitzer concertina museum. Art Altenburg and
his one-of-a-kind polka bar were featured in many television
specials (including Good Morning America), a movie and
countless news articles published by everyone from the
New York Times to National Geographic Magazine.
After 28 years, Art has retired. The bar was recently
sold and the concertinas are now for sale. You can own
a concertina that was once displayed at the "Only Concertina
Bar in the USA" officially registered with the United
States Patent and Trademark Office.
