PEARL QUEEN QUAD

Pearl Queen ConcertinaSeller offers for sale a rare find; a vintage Pearl Queen concertina with quadruple long plate reeds!

This is the concertina that many of you have been waiting for. There were not many quadruple reed Pearl Queen concertinas made. Few have survived to see this day. Fewer still are those that are in this kind of pristine condition.

Master Technician, Otto Schlicht, gave this concertina serial number 4743 which dates its manufacture to 1929. The badges on the bellows frames designate that this chemnitzer was manufactured for Willie P. Gieseke and sold by the Vitak-Elsnic Company. Not much has changed with this concertina since the days that Willie played it. It is in original condition, from the abalone and black lacquer finish to the complete set of metal corners and staves, to the 52 shell-tipped buttons. Even the tuning of the long plate reeds is original, which is the only work that this concertina really needs. It shows signs of normal wear from careful handling. Nothing unusal for a concertina that has made great music for decades while in the hands of only three owners.

The Seller will sacrifice this great concertina for only $2,800. Sale includes the original leather covered hard shell case. Shipping cost from the Northwestern United States to be paid by the buyer. Payment options include credit cards through PayPal.

Please Contact Us for more information.
